Shahriyar Rahmati serves as an Advisor and Board Member at Avicenna Cardiology, where he brings his background in healthcare operations, investing and strategy to support the growth and operational excellence of our team. He has an extensive background in multi-location healthcare, digital commerce, and global operations. In addition, he has executed transactions in excess of $3billion in an principal capacity.

His past healthcare operations experiences include:

Board Membership, and Interim CFO and COO at IMC Health, now CareMax, where he was a Managing Director of the Private Equity firm that purchased, grew, and sold the business through a public market transaction. IMC Health operated a group of twenty FL-based primary care locations that ultimately grew to over fifty through organic growth and acquisition prior to its public offering. Supported the onboarding of an excellent CEO who came to the business who enabled its ultimate success.

Led Non-Clinical Operations for Bright Now Dental, a DSO that provides services to approximately 700 dental offices across the United States. During his time at Bright Now, he created a centralized operation that drove revenue cycle, patient scheduling, and overall capacity utilization improvements. He also built the company’s first analytical data store, enabling analysis previously unavailable to the business which drove care, operational and financial benefits at scale. Worked with a visionary CEO who brought a new standard of leadership to the industry.

Advisor to D&S Community Services, a TX-based behavioral health group focused on residential facility-based care, migrating individuals from institutional care facilities to those where outcomes were greatly improved. These centers focused on IDD behavioral health populations. Supported a teamwork-oriented management team that went through multiple transitions prior to our exit of the investment.
